"Rejoice in the Lord" Bishop Fred Bentley
Philippians 4: 4-6
Bishop explains that in this letter to the church, Paul is encouraging the People of God in their faith. Paul advises to rejoice in the Lord always. As Saints, we have much to be joyful for. This joy comes from the Lord as we have a salvation that no one can take away from us. Bishop teaches us that you may not like your surroundings or what your situation looks like right now, however in the mix of it looking bad, rejoice in the Lord. Your attitude will determine your altitude. We have been granted the power. Power to turn our worries into prayer, and prayer changes things.
Paul also tells us the Lord is at hand. Bishop explains this means the Lord is near and will return soon. We need to love like never before. We need to let our moderation be known to all men. We should be considerate of all people regardless of their situation. Bishop teaches us to have some compassion and be reasonable. Your attitude will determine your altitude.
